Hail impact tester

A tower built from profiles and equipped with pneumatic components. A laser is attached to the tower itself and is used for sighting the target. The X-axis is fixed on the tower and contains a rail for the slide. The so-called launcher consists of a tube that is responsible for loading the ice balls. The test stand can be operated using an Apple iPod Touch. The task of the test stand is to shoot the ice balls at the module with a defined speed to test its strength. By using slides, it is possible to shoot the ice balls from variable positions.
