The MiniTec modular system forms an ideal basis for designing conveyor belts. Starting with the aluminum profiles as the basis for the frame, all other required components are available in a wide variety. This ranges from belts to side guides, supports and drives to knife edges, to name but a few. The conveyor belt configurator enables customers to easily define the specification for the desired conveyor belt – the selection of all components - themselves without in-depth technical know-how.

The configurator significantly reduces the quotation time and design effort, as all the necessary documents are automatically created in the background. The actual implementation of the conveyor at MiniTec and its delivery to the customer is correspondingly faster - so that the customer can use it more quickly. The configurator is extremely easy to use. The individual components can be specified step by step. The progress is displayed in 2D or 3D as you go along. Every change is immediately visible. A plausibility check also ensures that no logical errors are made and that the belt can be manufactured to the desired specification.
So that the user is also directly informed about the cost framework, he always sees the price achieved up to that point during configuration. Important: This is only an approximate target price, which may differ from the actual quoted price. Nevertheless, it is a valuable guide.
If everything fits, the customer can download the design as a product data sheet (PDF) and send the request. He then receives an e-mail with a link to access the configuration online and the PDF summary. As usual, the inquiry also ends up in their inquiry history, where they can call it up, view it and enquire about it again at any time.
When starting the configurator, general information such as loads, temperatures or other environmental influences are queried first. The user then begins with the actual configuration, where they can specify the conveyor system and all the details regarding dimensions, side guides, supports, drives, conveyor belts and intermediate plates.
In the System tab, the customer can choose whether they want the conveyor belt in a 45 or 90 version. The difference between these two systems is that the 90 version is based on a 45x90F profile (for a higher load-bearing capacity), while the 45 version is based on a 45x45F profile. In addition, knife edges can also be added here.
The next step is to define the dimensions – i.e. belt length, belt width and horizontal spacing.
In the configuration view of the side guide, the customer can choose between different brackets and side guide profiles.
MiniTec offers the customer three different underframes: simple, variable narrow and variable normal. The number of supports and the inlet and outlet height can be adjusted here. The infeed height and outfeed height can be set at an angle of up to 12°. However, conveyor belts can also be configured without an underframe. To prevent the conveyor belt from sagging, a support roller is automatically added to the configuration only if it is required.
If a drive is required, there are three options – although this also depends on whether knife edges are installed. The drive options are flange drive, slip-on drive and center drive.
In order to have the right conveyor for every requirement, MiniTec offers a variety of different options, both antistatic and non-antistatic belts.
To enable a higher load-bearing capacity, stainless steel (VA) can be selected as an intermediate plate in addition to aluminum.

As usual, the request is also stored in their request history, where they can call it up, view it and request it again at any time.
