Balcony power plants have experienced a real boom in recent years. Generating electricity from solar panels on your own balcony and saving money in the process is an attractive option for more and more homeowners and tenants.
However, as simple as assembly and installation may appear at first glance, there are sometimes hurdles to overcome during practical realisation. For example, the installation material supplied does not always fit the situation on site. Michael Konrad from Neunkirchen in Saarland also realised this, as the brackets for attaching the basic scaffolding were too short and simply did not fit the balcony posts.
An acquaintance suggested that he take a look at MiniTec - which led to the solution to the problem: Homeowner Konrad ordered a 30 mm profile in the required length and found the perfect solution to connect the four solar panel brackets to the three balusters - using a continuous profile. The 8 stainless steel screws supplied with the power station could be easily inserted into the MiniTec profile groove.
A continuous MiniTec profile replaces fixings that are too short.
